Our next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 19 7pm at the Fairgrounds. More details when we get conformations from the guest speakers.
Tea Party Picnic!
Monday, August 2nd join us at Meeker City Park for a picnic featuring guest speaker Ken Buck. We’ll be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers, bring a side dish if you can, but most importantly bring yourself. The eating starts at 6:00 with Ken Buck speaking around 6:30. See you there!
4th of July Committee Meeting
There will be a 4th of July planning meeting 7:00 PM Thursday, June 10 at Christ Reformed Church (1st and main). We are looking at hosting a booth downtown after the parade to offer information and answer people’s questions about the Tea Party. Please come to the meeting if you’re interested in helping out.
Next Meeting
Our next meeting will be June 17, 7:00 pm at the fairgrounds. The Republican candidates for country coroner will speak and take questions, and we will be starting an educational series on the Constitution. In this first installment Keith and I will be introducing the situation surrounding the writing of the constitution, the worldview of the men who wrote it and how that affects our understanding. Please come out and join the discussion!
